La Tribu dojo

La Tribu dojo is an independent project and growing martial arts network, based in Mittelbergheim, Alsace, and founded by Adrià Cros.

Its aim is not to become a federation or to replace existing clubs, schools, associations or other organisations. Instead, La Tribu dojo seeks to build connections between martial arts, the people who teach them, organisations, training venues and the public.

The project also offers its own activities: self-defence workshops, introductory sessions, seminars, gatherings, training camps and other occasional or travelling formats. Some activities may take place in Barr or at other partner venues, while the project remains based in Mittelbergheim.

Introductory workshops are designed in particular to put participants in direct contact with partner instructors and organisations. They allow participants to discover each instructor’s teaching approach, personality and way of sharing their practice before deciding whether to continue at that instructor’s club or school, or in that discipline.

In some formats organised by La Tribu dojo, partners may contribute on a voluntary basis to help develop the project. Participants’ fees then support the operation and development of La Tribu dojo, while instructors and organisations gain visibility and can meet potential students or members.

Training camps and other gatherings may follow the same cooperative approach: bringing members and partners of the network together around a shared project, with each person free to contribute their experience, teaching or practical help.

Future workshops, training camps and other formats are added as they are actually scheduled. A planned activity is not presented as available until a date or concrete arrangements have been agreed.
