Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 September 2026.

La Tribu dojo is currently operated on a transitional basis by CROS BOIS. This policy will be updated when a legal structure dedicated to the project is created or when the tools used for the site change.

1. Data controller

CROS BOIS — EURL 53 rue Principale, 67140 Mittelbergheim, France SIREN: 927 460 352 Contact for personal data matters: contact@latribudojo.org

2. Data we may collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process, in particular: your first and last name, contact details, city and country, role or position, the disciplines and organisations with which you are connected, background information you choose to provide, links and verification sources, as well as photographs, logos, schedules or supporting documents that you voluntarily attach to a form.

We may also process technical information necessary for the operation and security of the site, such as connection data or technical logs generated by the services used to host and operate the site.

3. Purposes of processing

The data is used to respond to messages, review and prepare listing requests, create or update profiles, verify certain information where necessary, manage permissions relating to submitted content, process correction or removal requests, ensure the security and operation of the site, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the purpose concerned, processing is based on La Tribu dojo’s legitimate interest in managing contacts, voluntary listing requests, editorial quality and site security; on your consent where it is required, particularly for certain uses of images, voices or optional content; or on a legal obligation where data must be retained or disclosed under the law.

5. Data made public

A listing request does not mean that all the information provided will be published. La Tribu dojo selects only the information that is useful for the profile and compatible with the purpose of the site. Supporting documents, identity documents, private contact details or other materials used for verification are not published unless specifically requested or authorised by the person concerned.

6. Recipients and service providers

The data is accessible only to people who need it to manage La Tribu dojo and to the technical service providers required to operate the service. The site notably uses Webflow for design, hosting and forms. The domain’s email service is managed through OVHcloud services. Other providers will be added only when their use becomes necessary and will then be incorporated into this policy.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

The use of international service providers, including Webflow, may mean that certain data is processed in or accessible from countries outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, these transfers must be covered by the mechanisms provided for under data-protection law. This policy will be adjusted if the providers or mechanisms used change.

8. Retention periods

Data is retained for a period proportionate to its purpose. Messages and requests are kept for as long as necessary to process them and follow up the relationship. Information in a profile may be retained while the profile remains active and should be reviewed when it becomes outdated. Supporting documents and proof of authorisation are retained only for as long as necessary for verification, to demonstrate the rights granted or to comply with a legal obligation. Technical data is retained for the period necessary for the security and operation of the service.

9. Your rights

Under the conditions provided for by law, you may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of its processing, object to certain processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent. You may also request data portability where that right applies.

To exercise your rights or request the correction or removal of a profile, contact: contact@latribudojo.org. Reasonable verification of your identity may be requested where necessary to protect your data.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL if you believe that your rights have not been respected.

10. Photographs, logos and submitted documents

When you submit a photograph, logo, schedule or other document, you must be authorised to share it. A photograph or document submitted to prepare a profile is used only for the stated purpose. Specific recordings of images, voices or interviews may require a separate authorisation setting out the project and permitted uses.

11. Minors

La Tribu dojo pays particular attention to the personal data and images of minors. General listing forms are not intended to collect personal information directly from children. Where an activity, photograph or recording concerns a minor, specific rules and authorisations are used according to the project and applicable law.

12. Cookies and other trackers

Information about the cookies, trackers and similar technologies used on the site is detailed on the Cookie management page. It also explains the available ways to manage your choices where your consent is required.

Read the Cookie management page

13. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the project, forms, service providers used or legal obligations. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
