Conditions applicable to free listing requests on La Tribu dojo: submission, verification, publication, submitted content, image rights, personal data, correction and removal.
Version V1.2 — applicable from the date it is published on latribudojo.org.
These conditions govern requests for the free listing of a person, teacher, instructor, club, school, association, training venue or other organisation connected with martial arts and related disciplines.
Listing on La Tribu dojo is intended to facilitate the discovery of practices, the people who transmit them, organisations, venues and activities. Basic listing is intended to remain free of charge.
Submitting a request allows La Tribu dojo to examine the information provided in order to prepare, verify, publish or update a profile. It does not create an automatic right to publication.
As of the date of this version, La Tribu dojo is operated on a transitional basis by:

A listing may be requested by people or organisations carrying out an identifiable activity connected with martial arts, combat sports, related body disciplines, their culture, teaching, organisation or transmission.
General listing forms are intended for adults. Where a profile, photograph or project concerns a minor, a specific framework and specific authorisations are used.
A request is submitted through a form or through direct communication with La Tribu dojo. The Applicant provides the information they wish to have examined and, where the form allows it, distinguishes between mandatory information and optional elements.
La Tribu dojo may request clarifications or supporting evidence reasonably necessary to verify identity, the existence of an activity, a role, an affiliation, a qualification, a grade, a competitive record or the right to provide content.
A request that is incomplete, manifestly misleading, impossible to verify where verification is necessary, contrary to the law, to practitioners’ safety or to the project’s essential principles may be refused or left pending.
Depending on the type of profile, La Tribu dojo may publish, among other things: the name or trading name, role, disciplines or activities, city and country, professional contact details made public by the Applicant, official links, a presentation, schedules, indicative prices, declared affiliations, and an authorised photograph, logo or visual.
Supporting evidence, identity documents, private contact details not intended for the public, and other documents used only for verification are not published.
To the best of their knowledge, the Applicant confirms the accuracy of the information provided and undertakes to report important changes concerning their profile.
La Tribu dojo may correct a factual error, request an update or temporarily hide information that has become manifestly outdated or unverifiable.
Listing on La Tribu dojo does not constitute professional certification, a quality label or a guarantee of competence, safety, results, qualifications, grades, competitive record, affiliation or administrative compliance.
Where applicable, the wording “Listed on La Tribu dojo” means only that a profile is presented on the website.
The Applicant submits only texts, logos, posters, schedules, documents or other content that they are authorised to communicate to La Tribu dojo and, where intended for the profile, to display publicly.
Solely for the purposes of preparing, displaying, updating and operating the profile on latribudojo.org, the Applicant authorises La Tribu dojo to reproduce and make the strictly necessary technical adaptations to content expressly intended for the profile, including resizing, cropping or format conversion.
This authorisation does not constitute general permission to use such content in advertising, social-media campaigns, commercial products, videos, artificial-intelligence training datasets or any other separate medium. Any different use requires a separate agreement where necessary.
A photograph of a person is optional. A listing request may be examined and a profile may be published without a photograph.
Where a person voluntarily supplies a photograph intended for their profile and ticks the corresponding authorisation box, they authorise La Tribu dojo to use that photograph to prepare and illustrate their public profile on latribudojo.org for as long as the profile remains active.
This authorisation covers only the technical adaptations necessary for display on the website. It does not automatically cover other uses.
A request to remove or replace the photograph may be sent to contact@latribudojo.org. Removing the photograph does not necessarily result in removal of the entire profile.
La Tribu dojo remains free to determine the layout, categories, filters, titles, extracts, display order and the way profiles are linked to one another, provided that the information supplied is not deliberately distorted.
Free listing does not guarantee any amount of traffic, contact, visibility in a search engine or priority ranking.
Unless a separate service is clearly announced, La Tribu dojo makes information available so that the public can contact the people or organisations presented directly.
La Tribu dojo is not a party to contracts, registrations, payments, classes, seminars, travel arrangements or disputes entered into directly between a visitor and a listed person or organisation.
A person or organisation concerned may request the correction, updating or removal of information relating to them.
Anyone may report in good faith manifestly false information, content that infringes their rights, or a serious risk to practitioners by writing to: contact@latribudojo.org.
La Tribu dojo may request the information reasonably necessary to verify the request before changing or removing content.
La Tribu dojo may refuse, suspend, correct or remove a listing, particularly in the event of manifestly false information, misuse of the La Tribu dojo name or logo, unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights, a serious risk to practitioners, cessation of activity, obsolete contact details, or a legal or safety requirement.
Except in an emergency, La Tribu dojo seeks to obtain the observations of the person concerned before taking a lasting measure.
The listed person or organisation may request removal of their profile at any time, subject to legal retention obligations and content covered by a separate agreement.
Each person or organisation remains responsible for their own activities, services, teaching, insurance, qualifications, administrative obligations, reception conditions, safety rules and relationships with practitioners, members or clients.
Presence on La Tribu dojo does not transfer this responsibility to the website operator.
Listing does not grant any automatic right to use the La Tribu dojo logo, badge or visual identity.
A person or organisation whose profile is active may state factually that they are “Listed on La Tribu dojo”, without presenting that wording as certification, official affiliation, partnership or network-member status where none exists.
The controller of data collected in connection with listing requests is currently CROS BOIS — EURL, 53 rue Principale, 67140 Mittelbergheim, France. Contact: contact@latribudojo.org.
The data is used to receive and process requests, verify certain information where necessary, prepare or update profiles, manage authorisations associated with submitted content, process correction or removal requests, and ensure the operation and security of the service.
Depending on the purpose, processing is based in particular on the legitimate interest associated with managing voluntary listing requests and maintaining the editorial quality of the service, and on consent where it is required, especially for certain optional uses of images.
The data is accessible to the people who need it to manage La Tribu dojo and to the technical service providers required for the operation of the service. Retention periods are determined according to purpose: requests are retained for the time needed to process them and follow up the relationship, profile information for as long as the profile remains active, and supporting evidence or proof of authorisation for as long as necessary for verification, to demonstrate the rights granted or to comply with a legal obligation.
Fields identified as mandatory are necessary to process the corresponding request. Other fields are optional.
For full information about recipients, possible transfers, retention periods and the exercise of rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection where applicable, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent, consult the La Tribu dojo Privacy Policy. A complaint may also be lodged with the CNIL.
Standard listing is intended to remain free of charge.
Separate paid services may be offered in the future, particularly through La Tribu dojo Pro. They will be subject to pricing information and specific terms. Purchasing them does not automatically make a person a partner or network member.
These conditions may change to take account of the development of the service, new features, a change in the operating structure or legal requirements.
The version applicable to a request is the version made available at the time it is submitted. Where a substantial change affects an active profile, La Tribu dojo seeks to inform the person or organisation concerned under reasonable conditions.
These conditions are governed by French law, without prejudice to any applicable mandatory rules.
In the event of a difficulty, the parties are invited first to seek an amicable solution by writing to contact@latribudojo.org. If no agreement is reached, the applicable legal rules on jurisdiction will apply.
Voluntarily submitting a listing request requires the Applicant to have read and accepted these Listing Conditions and to have read the Privacy Policy. Where the form provides for it, adherence to the La Tribu dojo Charter is also requested.
Confirmation of the accuracy of the information provided and of the right to submit the attached content is collected separately in the form.
Optional authorisations relating to a photograph or visual are collected through separate boxes where necessary. Refusing to provide or authorise an optional photograph does not, by itself, prevent a listing request from being examined.
